Onion Browser is a free, open-source web browser that connects to the Tor network on iOS. There are certain anonymity-related issues with Onion Browser due to iOS platform limitations, so it is best treated as a convenient option rather than a full Tor Browser replacement. See the about page for details.

Our take
On iOS this is effectively your only real route onto the Tor network, which is reason enough for it to exist. Be clear-eyed about the caveat the blurb hints at: Apple forces every browser onto WebKit, so it cannot match the real Tor Browser’s anonymity protections and certain leaks are unavoidable. Use it for casual access to onion services or light anonymity on an iPhone; for a serious threat model, do that work on a desktop with Tor Browser instead.
